The Chicago International Salsa Congress returns February 4–7, 2027, for four days of Latin music, dance, performances, and social dancing.

A major highlight of the weekend is the live music, with the CISC Concert Series bringing bands and musicians to the main ballroom for nights of salsa and Latin music followed by dancing into the early morning hours.

During the day, dancers can take part in an extensive schedule of workshops led by experienced instructors from Chicago and around the world. Classes traditionally cover a wide range of levels and topics, including salsa partnerwork, shines, musicality, body movement, styling, bachata, cha-cha-cha, and other Latin dance styles.

The congress also features its signature Dance Showcases, giving attendees the chance to watch talented local, national, and international dancers take the stage. Emerging artists share the spotlight alongside established performers throughout the weekend, making the showcases an important part of the CISC experience.

Between workshops and performances, DJs keep multiple dance floors moving with salsa, mambo, bachata, and more. Whether attending to learn, perform, enjoy live music, or simply dance, the Chicago International Salsa Congress brings together a diverse community for a full weekend devoted to Latin music and dance.
