Salsa in the Park returns to Congress Square in Portland, Maine, with a vibrant outdoor Latin dance celebration. This special summer edition on July 10, 2025, features a beginner salsa lesson followed by live Cuban music for open social dancing.
The event kicks off at 5:00 PM with a salsa lesson from 5:00 to 5:30 PM, perfect for new dancers or anyone looking to brush up on their basics. From 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Primo Cubana takes the stage, delivering live Cuban rhythms that will keep the dance floor packed and lively.
Presented by PM Salsa and Friends of Congress Square, this FREE event is family-friendly and open to the public. A professional dance floor is provided, making it easy to enjoy smooth dancing in the heart of downtown Portland.
No partner or registration is needed—just come ready to move and enjoy a beautiful evening of salsa under the open sky.
