Salsa at the Shell

Salsa at the Shell brings live Latin music and community dancing to the Hatch Memorial Shell for a free summer evening on the Esplanade. Boston Music Project youth musicians, FutureBOS, city youth arts partners, and Angel Subero and Latin Logic shape the concert, with Salsa y Control helping dancers get moving through an interactive salsa lesson.

The program is a good fit for dancers who want an outdoor salsa-friendly night with live music rather than a club setting. Expect a family-friendly atmosphere with lawn games, vendor activity, and space to settle in with a blanket while the music builds toward the headlining set.

There is no parking on the Esplanade, so plan around nearby garages, rideshare drop-off near Beacon and Arlington, or public transit from Arlington or Charles Street stations. Free registration is available through the official event page.
