Somoloco’s Mexico City Bachata Immersion is a one-week dance-and-culture experience built around intensive bachata training and nights out in the local social scene.

Across the week, participants receive personalized instruction based on their experience level and goals, with the option to focus on one bachata style: Dominican, Sensual, or Modern. The program includes 15 hours of private classes per week, plus 2 group classes with fellow dancers. It also includes 2 nights of social dancing per week with instructors at bachata socials.

Beyond dance, the immersion weaves in curated cultural activities, including a welcome dinner at a gourmet Mexican restaurant, lunch with each teacher, a hot air balloon flight over the Teotihuacán Pyramids, and a boat ride on the canals of Xochimilco. Accommodation is included for 7 nights at a boutique hotel in Roma Sur, described by the organizer as three blocks from the studio.

A one-week package costs US$2,750 for a solo guest or US$4,150 for a couple. Additional package options are available.

Available group immersion weeks in 2027 are March 14–21 and October 17–24. The February 7–14, February 14–21, and March 21–28 sessions are sold out.
