This Latin Music & Dance Celebration is a community fundraiser benefiting the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC), supporting free legal services for immigrants across the state.
Doors open at 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, with dinner available from Pilar’s Tamales and a cash bar. A salsa lesson with Mambo Marci from YA Salsa follows at 6:30 PM, leading into an evening of music for both listening and dancing. Live music runs from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring Paul Vornhagen’s Afro-Cuban jazz band Tumbao Bravo.
Co-sponsored by the Ann Arbor Reconstructionist Congregation and the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor, the night is designed for dancers, music lovers, and anyone who wants a feel-good way to support immigrant rights. Tickets are $50, with a registration deadline of June 6.
