Salsa Thursdays by the Water is a weekly outdoor salsa social hosted by DJ John John Acevedo and DJ Jay Boogie in Long Island City. Held at Frank Ottomanellis by The Water, this event offers a relaxed and scenic venue for dancers to enjoy classic and contemporary salsa music.
Every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM+, locals gather by the waterfront to dance, mingle, and enjoy the sunset views. It’s a friendly and inviting space, ideal for both experienced dancers and those new to salsa. Food and drinks are available for purchase, making it easy to spend the whole evening here.
Expect great vibes, great music, and an unbeatable atmosphere right by the East River. Whether you come alone or with friends, you’re sure to find yourself dancing all night.
