Swing 46 in New York City will host a special tribute event honoring the late Latin percussion legend John “Dandy” Rodríguez on Wednesday, September 10.

This one-night celebration marks what would have been Dandy’s 80th birthday and takes place at one of his favorite venues in the heart of Restaurant Row. The evening features live music by Frankie Morales & Mambo of the Times Orchestra, along with surprise guest appearances from renowned musicians and friends of Dandy’s. DJ Willie Sabrosura will be on hand to keep the dance floor moving between sets.

Doors open at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Seating is first-come, first-served and early booking is strongly recommended for the best tables. Reservations can be made via Zelle or directly through the venue.
