About this event
Paraíso Social NYC brings a monthly Friday salsa night to Astoria at Centro Español de Queens.
The evening starts with a basic salsa class from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by social dancing from 9:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Dancers can expect a night centered on classic salsa, with music hosted by DJ Dr. G, DJ Babaloo, and DJ Zion Child.
The party takes place in the venue’s dance hall, with a full bar and tapas available on site (21+). It’s a welcoming pick for social dancers who want a lively floor, strong music, and a community-forward vibe.
Getting there is straightforward via the Q101 or Q104 buses to Steinway St and Broadway, or the M and R trains to Steinway Station with a short walk. Street parking is also available nearby.
