Son Mujeres Orquesta Earthquake Relief Benefit Concert

About this event

Son Mujeres Orquesta brings its NYC debut to DROM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with doors at 7:00 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM.

Founded in 2018 in Cali, Colombia, the all-women orchestra is led by percussionist and bandleader Mónica Castro Torres and centers its show around “La Salsa en Cuerpo de Mujer,” blending salsa’s roots with a theatrical, dance-forward concert experience. The production is presented by a large ensemble and features a sound colored by instruments including vibraphone, strings, and drums.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, and the night is 21+. A $20 table minimum per person is required for table seating, and tickets are non-refundable.

For those looking to support earthquake relief beyond the ticket purchase, the event also points attendees to online donations through Direct Relief.
