Viva LA Salsa brings a live-music social format to Fringe Bar, with a salsa lesson up front and a band-driven dance floor after. The June edition is built around New York band Los Hacheros with Papote Jimenez, plus DJ-hosted social dancing.

Eddie Alba of Albasario Dance Company teaches the 5:30 PM salsa lesson, with live percussion from Ritmo Nuevo. Los Hacheros, Papote Jimenez, Ritmo Nuevo, DJ Kevin Ocasio, and DJ Vspice shape the music for dancers who want a social centered on live salsa.

The June 14, 2026 event runs from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Fringe Bar in Old City Philadelphia. Admission is $15 at the door before 6:00 PM or $25 general admission online or later at the door; Fringe Bar has food and drink menus, and discounted parking is available at Parkominium with validation at the host stand.
