About this event
The Salsa Bar at The Beat is a monthly salsa lesson and late-night social held every second Friday at The Beat dance studio in Berkeley.
The night starts with beginner and intermediate salsa lessons before the 9 PM social. DJ Eldelaclave keeps the late-night music salsa-focused, with mambo, cha-cha-cha, and bachata also in the mix.
Cover is $15. The class-and-social format uses The Beat’s large dance floor, so dancers can take a lesson first and stay for social dancing afterward.
