¡WEPA! FEST 2025 is a free outdoor celebration of Puerto Rican and Caribbean music and culture, hosted by MACLA and San Jose Jazz in downtown San José. Now in its second year, this family-friendly event brings together live music, dance, food, and community in the vibrant SoFA district.
Attendees can look forward to performances from acclaimed artists including Orquesta Taino, a dynamic salsa and Latin jazz ensemble; Edgardo Cambón & Candela, known for their original compositions and energetic stage presence; and Latin Rhythm Boys, blending Jíbaro traditions with salsa flair. DJ Leydis will round out the evening with a set that mixes Latin, Caribbean, and global rhythms.
Taking place in front of MACLA at Parque de los Pobladores, this event is open to all and designed to celebrate the cultural richness of Puerto Rico and its diaspora.
Bring your friends, family, and dancing shoes for an evening full of music, community, and heritage under the San José sky.
