Savage Salsa Sunday is a family-friendly Latin dance event held at Savage Craft Ale Works in West Columbia, SC. The event takes place inside the brewery’s event center, offering plenty of room and seating for dancers of all levels.
It kicks off with an intro salsa class at 3:00 PM, teaching the fundamental steps in a fun, approachable way. The lesson is followed by social dancing with music from DJ 411 @Joel Rodriguez, who spins a lively mix of salsa, bachata, and merengue to keep the energy high.
No partner is needed to attend, and dancers will be paired as needed during the lesson. The event is open to all ages, with kids 14 and under admitted free. Entry is just $5 and includes the lesson and social dancing. Payment is accepted via cash or Venmo.
