Bachata Weekend – Malmö Edition is a two-day bachata immersion hosted by Bachata Scandinavia at Ungdomens Hus in Malmö. The event features over 14 hours of workshops led by both international and national instructors, including Juan Pablo Paredes, Sofia & Issa, and Anier Sanchez. It explores the roots of Caribbean dance culture, focusing on Dominican, Cuban, and Haitian influences.

The weekend includes a Dominican style bachata experience enriched with Cuban Son/Bolero and Haitian Merengue traditions. There is a large social dance party on Saturday night and a Sunday afternoon social, along with animation shows and a footwork competition.

The venue is Ungdomens Hus, centrally located near Malmö Triangeln station. Tickets range from 590 SEK for a Saturday pass to 990 SEK for a full weekend pass. Organized by Bachata Scandinavia, the event welcomes all dance levels and features music by DJ Carla and DJ Mariposa.
