Malmö Bachata Festival brings three days of Bachata Sensual workshops, performances, a competition, and social dancing to Malmö Stadsteater’s Hippodromen in Malmö, Sweden, from February 5-7, 2027.

The festival features 20 hours of Bachata Sensual workshops, five dance shows, and parties from Friday through Sunday across two dance floors.

Workshops are organized into two tracks, with options for improver and open-level dancers as well as intermediate to advanced participants. No partner is required, and partner rotation is available during classes.

The teaching lineup includes Pablo & Raquel, Cristian & Gabriella, Carlos & Paz, Masa & Polina, David & Aylin, Álvaro & Sara, Gregory & Karolina, Valentin & Angy, Paco & Vera, Russbel & Nell, Moe & Roksana, Imad & Julia, and Rasmus & Sara.

Music throughout the weekend is provided by DJs Valenz, Bachflow, and VJ, keeping both dance floors moving during the evening parties.

The festival also features a Bachata Jack & Jill social dance competition, with entry available for an additional €15.

Full Passes cost €135, increasing to €150 during the final ticket phase. Tickets are nonrefundable, and name changes are available for a €10 fee.

The event takes place at Malmö Stadsteater’s Hippodromen, approximately a five-minute walk from Malmö Central Station. Trains from Copenhagen Airport take around 24 minutes, making the festival accessible for visitors.

Nearby accommodation options include Hotel Garden, Moment Hotels, and Mayfair Tunneln. Parking is available at Petri P-hus and Caroli Parkering, with an accessible parking space located outside the theatre entrance.
