About this event

Havana Salsa New Year Cuban Salsa Festival brings three days of Cuban and Latin dance to Birmingham from Thursday, December 31, 2026 through Saturday, January 2, 2027.

Hosted by Havana Salsa Events, the festival combines daytime workshops with evening classes, performances, social dancing, and late-night New Year fiestas. Workshops on January 1 and 2 run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Evening fiestas begin from 8:30 PM, with classes scheduled at 8:45 PM across all three nights. Papucho y Manana Club are confirmed to play from 11:30 PM on January 2.

The programme is designed for dancers of all levels, from beginners through advanced participants, and guests are welcome to attend solo or as a couple. Alongside the training, the festival offers plenty of time to socialize, enjoy performances, and dance into the night with the wider Cuban salsa community.

Party passes start at £45, day passes at £70, and three-day festival passes cost £170 per person. The event offers a festive way to welcome the New Year with workshops, live music, social dancing, and three nights of celebration in Birmingham.
