Norien Anne Oalma is a Filipino salsa, bachata, Afro-Latin, and DanceSport instructor and competitor. She began dancing at age five under the coaching of Ana Rodalin Palma of A. Dance Company, started competing at age six, and began teaching at age 14.
Norien is a licensed dance teacher with both national and international credentials. In 2020, she became an Associate of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing in Club Dance, with a focus on Afro-Latin dances. She is also a National Adjudicator of the Philippine DanceSport Federation.
As a competitor, Norien has earned titles across salsa, bachata, kizomba, and Afro-Latin divisions. Her results include Bachata Open Champion and Salsa Open Rising Star Champion at the Asia Pacific International Dance Championship, Salsa Silver Medalist at the Asian DanceSport Games in Japan, and multiple titles at the Manila Dance Classic Championship, including Bachata Solo Champion, Salsa Solo Champion, Salsa Open Champion, and Salsa Team Champion.
She has also won Salsa Open Champion at the Afro Latin Dance Cup and Afro Latin Competition, Bachata Open Champion and Urban Kizomba Open Champion at the Afro Latin Olympics, and multiple teacher-student and open titles at Lilian’s Cup 2019.
