Jimmy “JSmooth” Bui

Jimmy Bui (aka JSmooth) is a salsa and bachata instructor at the Miraido Studio in downtown San Jose. Jimmy has over 14 years of dancing experience, with a background in salsa, bachata, and ballroom dancing.

Jimmy has nearly a decade of teaching experience, having started his non-profit dance company, J Smooth Salsa, in 2002. The company is dedicated to offering low-cost dancing lessons to beginners, and the studio offers free salsa and bachata lessons every Thursday, as well as other low-cost classes throughout the week.
