Overview:

A superhero-themed salsa party hosted by Salsamania Dance Company. Salsa lessons by John and Liz of Salsamania, followed by dancing to the wee hours of the morning to the music of DJ Super Chino. Superhero costume contest at 11:30pm and special performances by Salsamania Dance Co. and guests.

I'll admit I may be biased about this because I dance for Salsamania, but in my experience Salsamania holds some of the funnest salsa socials of the year. As one the largest salsa teams in the Bay Area, Salsamania's showcase is always entertaining, and often features acrobats and other entertainment.

The event is being held at Cafe Cocomo, which is one of the top salsa venues in SF with a spacious dance floor, lounge area, and full bar. The event will feature salsa lessons by John & Liz, dance performances, and dancing until 2am in the morning.

This year's theme is superheroes, so dust off your favorite superhero (or villain) costume for a fun evening of dancing & performances.
