Annaliza Peña is a Santa Clara-based salsa and bachata instructor and the director of Artista Dance School. She teaches private coaching with a focus on salsa spins, turning patterns, styling, bachata, and Latin dance fitness for dancers at different levels.
Through Artista and Hector & Annaliza, Annaliza works alongside Hector Reyes on classes, private lessons, team training, and choreography in the South Bay. Artista Dance School gives her a clear Santa Clara home for students who want regular salsa and bachata training as well as one-on-one coaching.
Annaliza’s teaching emphasizes confidence and clean technique. She has also taught in wider Bay Area salsa settings, including Nova Dance Fest and Hello Dance Fest, where Hector & Annaliza are part of the regional instructor community. Her work is especially practical for dancers who want a studio-based path into styling, partnerwork, and performance preparation for local stages.
