Ritmo Caliente Tuesday Classes and Social

About this event

Ritmo Caliente brings weekly salsa and bachata classes followed by social dancing to The Leederville Hotel in Leederville every Tuesday.

Classes are taught by Liliana Sputore and her team, with multiple levels available for dancers looking to learn or develop their skills. No partner is required, and partner rotation is encouraged, although couples are welcome to stay together.

The regular evening schedule begins with Salsa Level 1 at 6:30 PM, followed by Salsa Levels 2 and 3 at 7:30 PM. Bachata Levels 1, 2, and 3 begin at 8:30 PM, with classes finishing at 9:30 PM. Introductory taster nights may follow a different schedule, so dancers should check the current timetable before attending.

After the classes, the evening continues with social dancing until midnight. Salsa and bachata take place indoors, while a dedicated rooftop terrace offers kizomba dancing.

Casual classes cost A$27 for one class, A$45 for two, or A$60 for three per person. Couples pay A$40, A$70, or A$100 for the same options.

Six-week courses cost A$130 for one course, A$240 for two, or A$310 for three per person. Couple packages are A$240, A$435, or A$579, respectively.

Social-only admission is A$10, while students attending classes receive free entry to the social.

The event takes place upstairs at The Leederville Hotel, with food and drinks available for purchase. The Vincent Street public car park is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 PM until midnight.
