Studio Saturdays are built for dancers who want a focused weekend training block rather than a quick evening class. Danza Loca uses the two-hour format to combine body movement, shines, complementary Latin styles, and structured Cuban salsa work.
Simon Fryda and the Danza Loca Crew lead the Saturday workshops for absolute beginners through advanced students. The first hour focuses on movement and Latin styling, while the second hour moves into salsa material at the student’s level; bachata, merengue, cha-cha, kizomba, and reggaeton may also appear depending on the week.
The workshops run Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at King Street Arts Centre in central Perth. Admission is $35 for the two-hour workshop, with a $20 student price and first-timer class-pack specials; the venue has dance studios on level 2, is a short walk from Northbridge, and uses nearby paid parking such as His Majesty’s carpark.
