Bachata Classes at BachatAmor

About this event

BachatAmor offers weekly bachata classes in Karrinyup on Thursdays during term time, with beginner and improver levels taught by instructor Des.

Doors open at 6:45 PM, followed by Level 1 Beginners at 7:00 PM and Level 2 Improvers at 8:00 PM.

Classes build on traditional bachata foundations using the Island Touch approach, incorporating modern elements and focusing on partner connection, body isolations, musicality, and Dominican footwork. Level 2 also introduces elements of Sensual Bachata.

No partner is required, and partners rotate frequently during classes. Absolute beginners are encouraged to join during the first week of a term, while experienced dancers can drop in midterm.

A single class costs A$25, a standard six-week term costs A$125, and a six-class pack is A$135. Matching lead-and-follow pairs can purchase two term passes for A$187.50 or two six-class packs for A$202.50.

First-time students can try a class for free using promo code FREETRIAL at single-class checkout.

Classes run during term time, with a break at the end of the year. On-site parking is available.
