Salsa and Bachata Classes at Dance Culture Murrumba Downs

About this event

Dance Culture offers weekly salsa and bachata classes at its Murrumba Downs studio, with beginner and intermediate levels available. Classes run year-round, with breaks for Easter and Christmas.

Friday evenings focus on salsa with instructors Yanita Hall and Jon. Beginner Salsa runs from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by Intermediate Salsa from 8:15 PM to 9:15 PM.

Sunday afternoons feature bachata with Yanita Hall and Samir Kumar. Intermediate Bachata takes place from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by Beginner Bachata from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The schedule includes 15-minute practice breaks between Friday classes, between Sunday bachata classes, and after Sunday Beginner Bachata, giving students additional time to practice.

Complete beginners can also join the separate Introduction to Latin Dancing course, which covers both salsa and bachata. No previous dance experience or partner is required. The four-week course takes place on Sundays from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM and costs AU$89.

Regular beginner and intermediate classes cost AU$99 for a four-week block.

Dance Culture Murrumba Downs is located upstairs at Castle Hill Village, with access via the entrance stairs next to the pharmacy.
