About this event
Active Studios NYC hosts a beginner-friendly Bachata class and social on the first Tuesday of every month, starting at 7:30 PM on New York City’s Upper East Side. The partner class lasts about an hour, and no partner is required.
After the lesson, dancers can stay for a relaxed wine-and-cheese social. Most participants spend about 1.5-2 hours at the combined class and gathering, leaving time to practise with classmates in a relaxed setting.
The first class is free, with later classes starting as low as $20 and additional membership and class-pack options available. Crosstown and York Avenue-Clinton buses stop one block from the studio.
