Melting Pot Fusion Dance Social

About this event

Melting Pot Fusion Dance Social is Fusion Dance NYC’s monthly fusion dance, bringing dancers from different movement backgrounds together for an evening of class and social dancing.

The event takes place at Big Apple Ballroom on its 5th Avenue floor. On Friday, October 9, 2026, the night begins with a class from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by social dancing from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

Fusion dancing encourages participants to draw from a wide range of partner-dance styles, making the social a good fit for dancers who enjoy creativity, improvisation, and connecting with different partners throughout the night.

The atmosphere is welcoming and community-focused, with space for both experienced fusion dancers and those curious about exploring a more open-ended style of partner dancing.

Admission is $25 at the door, with ticketing handled by Fusion Dance NYC.
