About this event

The Cuban Weekender is a three-day Latin dance celebration taking place from May 2nd to 4th in Tauranga. Hosted by the Aotearoa Cuban Festival team, the event features Afro-Cuban energy, engaging Rueda circles, and ‘salsaton’ vibes.

Attendees can choose from various passes based on their preferences for dancing and learning. The Full Pass includes two fiestas and two days of workshops. There are also separate passes for Friday and Saturday fiestas, as well as individual workshop options. Workshops focus on authentic Cuban styles.

Fiestas occur on Friday and Saturday nights with music and social dancing. The event caters to both experienced Cuban dancers and newcomers.
