Friday Fusion is a high-energy dance event held on the last Friday of each month at Shawn Gardner Dancing in Tigard, Oregon (just 20 minutes from Portland). With 4 dance floors featuring Country, Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and more, there’s something for everyone—including a live Latin band!
Schedule:
– 7:45 PM & 8:30 PM: Beginning lessons in multiple styles
– 9:00–10:30 PM: Live band Barrio Mestizo (Latin Room)
– 7:30 PM–1:00 AM+: Social dancing in 3 ballrooms + outdoor floor
Instructors include Bradley & Lauren Montoya, Kat Nichols, and others. DJs include Blake, ISMA, Cavaliere, and Freddy. Enjoy food, a taco truck, and a full bar. Ages 18+ welcome. Over 500 attendees expected.
