Salsa Dancing and Cocktails at Courage Anyone

The Get Down brings a lively midweek Latin dance experience to downtown San Jose every 2nd Wednesday of the month. Hosted at the stylish Courage Anyone cocktail lounge, the evening begins with an accessible salsa lesson designed for beginners and anyone looking to refresh their moves.

The evening begins with a salsa lesson taught by Alyssa & Bohdan from 7:00–8:00 PM, with a $20 ticket that includes the lesson plus a drink ticket. After the class, the night shifts into social dancing from 8:00 PM until close, with a $10 option for dancing only. Music is provided by DJ Willie, keeping the energy up for both new dancers and regulars.

After the lesson, guests can stay to dance, socialize, and enjoy craft cocktails in an intimate upstairs bar setting. The venue’s vibrant atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people, practice your steps, and soak up the rhythm of Latin music.

No partner is needed, and beginners are warmly welcomed, making it an easy night to try salsa for the first time or get more reps on the social floor. The event takes place upstairs at Courage Anyone (located in the former home of the Agenda Lounge) in downtown San Jose.
