Somoloco’s Bachata Immersion in Barcelona is a one-week training-and-culture experience built around focused bachata instruction and nights out in the local social scene.

For the week, the immersion includes 15 hours of 1-on-1 bachata classes with Spain’s top teachers, plus two group classes with fellow attendees and a musicality class. The program also includes two nights of social dancing with dance instructors at Barcelona bachata socials.

Beyond dance training, guests can expect community time and cultural activities, including a gourmet Spanish-style welcome dinner, lunch with teachers, and a walking tour with the trip leader. Accommodation is included as seven nights in a fully furnished apartment in the Gràcia neighborhood, with a private room in a shared apartment with one other Somoloco guest; upgrades are available.

Airport pickup on arrival, airport drop-off on departure, and trip leader support are included, along with 24-hour customer support via WhatsApp and access to the Somoloco alumni community. Somoloco notes that private immersions can be arranged at any time of year, while group immersions run on specific dates and begin Monday morning, with Sundays reserved for arrivals and departures.

Group immersion weeks in 2027 are January 10–17, April 25–May 2, and September 12–19. Each calendar date marks the arrival date at the start of a one-week stay, not a single-day class.
