Lausanne Afro Fusions Festival 2026

Lausanne Afro Fusions Festival brings four days of music, dance and cultural programming to the Esplanade and Casino de Montbenon from Thursday, August 20, through Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Programming begins at 6:00 PM on Thursday and continues throughout the weekend, with the final activities scheduled to finish around 8:00 PM on Sunday.

The Sankara stage is dedicated to salsa, bachata and kizomba. Seeler provides live salsa music, while DJ Rumba Stereo, Franco Salsa and DJ Laye keep the dance floor moving with DJ sets that include Colombian salsa and other Afro-Latin styles.

Several indoor and outdoor stages allow visitors to move between the dance program, live performances and the festival’s wider cultural activities. Food, drinks and vendor stands are also available around Montbenon.

Now in its eleventh edition, the festival is free to attend, with the salsa, bachata and kizomba stage serving as one of the main gathering points for dancers throughout the weekend.
