Isle of Wight Soul and Reggae Weekender V runs from Friday 16 October through Sunday 18 October 2026 at the Royal Esplanade Hotel in Ryde. The program starts at 4:00 PM on Friday and continues until a late finish at 1:00 AM on Monday morning.
The music program covers soul, rhythm and blues, reggae, lovers rock, jazz funk, soulful house, Salsa and Latin. The lineup includes DJ Looney, Darrell Steaman, Sidney G, DJ John Walcott, Mr C, Greg C, Vanessa Hunt, Roy Medallion, Malcolm Heath, DJ Hughie and DJ Marc Antoni.
DJ Hughie plays Salsa, Latin, jazz funk and soul. Saturday includes daytime Salsa and a professional dance session.
The early bird weekend pass costs £80, and the weekend pass costs £95 after Easter. A Saturday-only pass costs £45, while a Saturday and Sunday pass costs £70. The hotel restaurant and Harry’s Bar serve meals, drinks and light bites, with vegetarian and allergy-friendly options available.
Limited hotel parking can be reserved in advance, and other parking is available nearby. Ryde transport interchange is opposite the hotel, with buses, trains and taxis nearby, while the Hovercraft and FastCat passenger terminals are a few minutes’ walk away.
Hotel rooms for the event are sold out, so nearby accommodation is suggested. The entrance, Brasserie and Harry’s Bar have stepped access, while first-floor rooms have lift access and staff can assist with mobility aids when access needs are disclosed during booking.
