Salsa and Bachata Classes at Bailarte Edinburgh

Bailarte offers weekly salsa and bachata classes at The Crags Community Sports Centre in Edinburgh, with instruction available for complete beginners through advanced dancers.

Classes are taught by Gabriel, Neiva, and Ines, focusing on dance fundamentals, timing, leading and following, musicality, and partner connection. Beginners learn Salsa On1 and Bachata Fusion, with bachata instruction incorporating Dominican, Sensual, and Moderna principles.

Each class lasts 45 minutes, with separate sessions for different experience levels.

Monday evenings feature Beginner Salsa at 6:30 PM and Beginner Bachata at 7:15 PM. Tuesday evenings focus on higher levels, with Intermediate Salsa at 7:00 PM and Intermediate Bachata at 7:45 PM, followed by Advanced Salsa at 8:30 PM and Advanced Bachata at 9:15 PM.

Thursday evenings begin with Beginner Salsa at 7:00 PM and Beginner Bachata at 7:45 PM, followed by Improvers Salsa at 8:30 PM and Improvers Bachata at 9:15 PM.

No previous dance experience or partner is required for beginner classes, and partners rotate during lessons.

The four-week beginner Salsa and Bachata bundle costs £50 for eight classes. Students who bring a friend receive a 20% discount on Monday or Thursday bookings.

Four-week improver, intermediate, and advanced courses cost £60 for eight classes. Drop-in lessons are £8.50 per class, with no advance booking required. New students can also register for a free beginner trial class.

Classes take place at The Crags Community Sports Centre in Edinburgh. Parking is available at the venue, and the East Crosscauseway bus stop is approximately a three-minute walk away.
