G-Ya Dance Company is a Seoul-based salsa performance team directed by G-ya Ji Chung Won.
The company was established in 2013 and uses the slogan “Be Original,” which fits the team’s long-running emphasis on originality and creativity in its choreography and training. The team is known for its polished salsa stage work rooted in Seoul’s mambo scene and G-ya’s personal brand as both a performer and coach.
Over the years, G-Ya Dance Company has built a steady presence in both the Korean scene and the wider Asian and international congress circuit. The team has appeared on artist lineups at events such as Formosa Salsa Festival, El Sol Warsaw Salsa Festival, The Original Latin Dance Congress Bangkok, and the Korea Latin Dance Cup, and participates in festivals around the world.
