About this event
Latin Club León is Shinjuku’s longest-running “salsa basement,” blending daily salsa dance lessons with late-night Latin parties and a Peruvian-style bar menu.
Tucked one floor below street level at 5-17-6 Shinjuku, the club opens most nights at 19:00 with a beginner-friendly lesson and rolls straight into DJ time until around midnight.
Resident and guest teachers such as Yukiko (On 1), Satsuki, Colombian salsa instructor Beto, and Cuban showman Víctor Rodríguez rotate through the schedule, so you might get NY-style shines on Monday and a bachata-heavy social on Friday.
Staff and many instructors switch between Japanese, Spanish and basic English making the venue friendly for tourists and visitors.
