Thursday Bachata Classes at Salsa Therapy

Salsa Therapy offers weekly bachata classes at Toi Aro Arts Centre in Wellington, with options for beginners through experienced dancers. Classes take place every Thursday through December 3, 2026.

The evening begins at 6:00 PM with Bachata Beginners Level 2, taught by Lilia de Castro and Adam. The class focuses on partner connection, combinations, and styling to help dancers develop their bachata skills.

At 7:00 PM, Lilia and Adam teach Sensual Bachata with Zouk influence, designed for dancers with more than one year of bachata experience.

From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Lilia and Riley lead an open-level Bachata Heels class combining lady styling with short choreography and optional advanced challenges. All levels are welcome, and wearing heels is optional.

No partner is required for the classes.

Casual admission is NZ$26 per class, or NZ$19 for students with a student ID.

Classes take place at Toi Aro Arts Centre in Wellington. Two-hour metered street parking is available on Market Lane, including three mobility parking spaces. The nearest bus stops are on Manners Street and Courtenay Place.

The venue provides wheelchair-accessible entry, lifts, and accessible toilets.
