About this event

Viva Latina Dance is a beginner friendly dance studio in Upper Hutt offering series classes in Latin dances such as salsa and bachata.

The next 8-week course runs from Tuesday, 8 September to 27 October 2026, with another course from 3 November to 22 December 2026. Classes run on Tuesdays from 8:00pm to 9:00pm at the Viva Latina Wallaceville Estate Studio. The studio also offers classes in Argentine Tango and other styles.

Viva Latina Dance’s group courses are designed to be friendly for new dancers while still giving improvers plenty to work on. No partner is needed for group lessons, and special clothes or shoes are not required to get started.

The 8-week course costs NZ$140. Casual classes cost NZ$20 when places are available.
