Bay Salsa Festival returns to Tauranga over Labour Weekend, October 24th–26th, for a 3-day celebration of Latin dance. This annual event brings together top New Zealand artists, DJs, and performers for a schedule of workshops, socials, and parties.
Dance styles featured include salsa, bachata, zouk, kizomba, and cha cha cha. The weekend begins Friday evening with a warmup party at Greerton Marist Rugby Club. Saturday and Sunday include full workshop days and social dancing at the Community Action Centre on Windsor Road, followed by evening parties.
A special highlight is the Sunday night theme party at Greerton Marist Rugby Club. Dancers from all over New Zealand gather to share, learn, and celebrate Latin rhythms in a friendly environment.
