8th Annual Queer Afro Latin Dance Festival 2027

The 8th Annual Queer Afro Latin Dance Festival returns to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose from June 4 through June 7, 2027. Beginning Friday at 10:00 AM and continuing through Monday at 2:00 AM, the four-day gathering puts salsa, bachata, kizomba and zouk alongside vogue, hip-hop, heels and other queer-centered dance forms.

The program brings more than 60 hours of workshops together with three nights of performance showcases and the Queer and Trans Afro Latin Dance Competition. The first announced artists are Noelia and Irena, Michael Palacios, Roy and Jonathan, and Ah Tew and Edwin, with more names and the detailed timetable still to come.

Early Bird passes are available through the current Humanitix sale. At the DoubleTree, secured self-parking is $32 per day with in-and-out privileges, and valet service is not offered.

The hotel is about one mile from San Jose International Airport and runs a complimentary shuttle every 30 minutes from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, making the host property a practical base for the full weekend.
