Bachata Classes with Sofie and Anders

Bachata Umeå offers two seven-session bachata courses with instructors Sofie and Anders at Kulturhuset Klossen in Umeå, Sweden. Classes take place every Tuesday from November 3 through December 15, 2026, providing opportunities for dancers to develop their technique, musicality, and partner dancing skills.

The Beginner 2 course runs from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM and is designed for dancers with some previous bachata experience. Participants will explore new combinations and movements while improving their leading, following, and partner connection.

The Improver 1 course follows from 8:00 PM to 9:15 PM, focusing on sensual bachata fundamentals, musicality, and styling. This class offers dancers an opportunity to refine their technique, develop smoother movements, and build confidence on the dance floor.

Each seven-session course costs 1,000 SEK, with a discounted student rate of 900 SEK. Advance registration through the official course form is required, and participants receive confirmation by email. A waiting list may apply to maintain a balanced number of dancers in different partner roles.

Classes take place at Kulturhuset Klossen in Umeå, Sweden. The venue is accessible by public transportation, with bus routes 5 and 8 stopping at Ålidhems Centrum, the nearest bus stop.
