Salsa Wednesdays at Umeå Folkets Hus brings salsa dancers together every Wednesday during the autumn season for an evening of workshops, music, and social dancing. Organized by Umeå Salsa Club, the event offers a welcoming environment to practice salsa, develop dance skills, and connect with the local dance community.

The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a salsa workshop. On the last Wednesday of each month, an introductory trial class offers newcomers an opportunity to discover salsa and learn the basics.

From 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the evening continues with salsa social dancing, giving participants time to practice their moves, enjoy the music, and dance with fellow salsa enthusiasts.

Umeå Salsa Club membership costs 300 SEK per calendar year and includes access to the club’s social dances. Participants are encouraged to check the club’s latest announcements for workshop themes and schedule updates.
