Bachata Thursdays at Umeå Folkets Hus brings dancers together every Thursday during the autumn season for an evening of bachata music, social dancing, and community in Umeå, Sweden. The weekly social runs from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM, offering a welcoming atmosphere for dancers to practice their moves, meet new people, and enjoy bachata.

On the first Thursday of each month, an open-level bachata workshop takes place from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM, providing an opportunity to develop technique and explore new movements before the social begins.

On the last Thursday of each month, a free trial workshop is offered from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM, giving newcomers an opportunity to discover bachata and experience the local dance community.

Social dancing begins at 7:15 PM and continues until 9:00 PM, bringing bachata enthusiasts together for a relaxed evening of music, partner dancing, and socializing.

Admission to the social costs 50 SEK per person and is free for members. Annual membership costs 300 SEK per calendar year and includes access to the club’s social dances.
