Paulina Posadas Dagio is a Montreal-based salsa artist, coach, and choreographer, recognized for a decorated competitive career that includes six World Salsa Championship titles and 14 Mexican national championships. She is the founder and director of Las Bravas, a women’s team known for technical precision and stage presence, and she continues to teach, judge, and coach internationally.
Originally from Mexico, Paulina rose to prominence with long-time partner David Zepeda Ayala. Together they dominated the World Latin Dance Cup (WLDC) Pro Salsa On2 division, winning four consecutive titles—an undefeated run that set a record for the category—alongside additional world titles at major international salsa competitions.
The couple were also members of the international “Dream Team” dance project alongside fellow salsa champions Carine Morais & Rafael Barros of Brazil and Karen Forcano & Ricardo Vega (Argentina/Chile).
Now based in Quebec, she runs training, privates, and choreography programs, and is frequently booked for workshops and adjudication in North America and abroad. Her teaching emphasizes clean On2 structure, musical interpretation, and performance readiness.
