David Zepeda Ayala, originally from Puebla, Mexico, is a salsa dancer, instructor, coach and former competitor best known for his long-running partnership with Paulina Posadas Dagio. Together, David and Paulina became one of the defining on2 couples of the early 2010s, with major titles at the World Latin Dance Cup and World Salsa Summit.
David trained across several dance forms, including ballet, modern, jazz, Latin dance, acrobatics, African dance and hip-hop. That broad background helped shape a competition style built around speed, partnering technique, control and stage presentation.
With Paulina, David was also part of the Dream Team project, alongside other champion salsa couples from Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Their competitive career included multiple World Latin Dance Cup Pro Salsa On2 titles, and David has since been described publicly as a six-time world Latin dance champion.
Now based around Playa del Carmen, David brings the experience of a champion competitor into his work as a teacher and coach, with a focus on technique, discipline and stage presence.
