Jennifer Silvas Espinosa is a Los Angeles and Orange County–based dancer, instructor, and choreographer known for versatile technique and stage presence across salsa, bachata, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, tap, and swing. A longtime figure in the L.A. salsa scene, she has worked with leading artists including the Vazquez brothers and has guested and partnered widely on the international congress circuit.
Trained from age three, Silvas’ early career included commercial and television work (Barbie, Coca-Cola, Burger King; ABC’s Full House), followed by scholarship training at EDGE Performing Arts Center and a contract with Holland America Line. She began intensive salsa training around 2000 and went on to perform and teach globally. Selected credits include featured dance work in the UK film StreetDance 2 (2012).
In Southern California, Jennifer has been closely associated with Mike Zuñiga and the Rhythmic Fusion/RF Dance community—teaching, performing, and coaching salsa and bachata teams and social dancers in Santa Ana. Her social and competition appearances with Zuñiga and other L.A. artists are widely documented across regional festivals and studio media.
Beyond the Latin scene, Silvas serves with Ovation Dance Challenge, contributing as faculty (Latin Jazz) and in operations leadership, drawing on more than three decades of multi-style performance and adjudication experience.
