Deymian Villaraldo is a salsa dancer and instructor based in Portland, Oregon. He teaches salsa On2 and performs with Angie Garcia. His work includes solo footwork workshops as well as the couple’s performance and competition partnership.
At the 2025 World Salsa Summit, Villaraldo and Garcia won the Salsa Rising Star Showcase On2 division. He also placed third in the Rising Star Men Solo Showcase. The following year, the pair won the Professional Showcase On2 final at the World Salsa Summit, competing with a New York City and Portland affiliation.
Their results also include first place in Salsa Parejas On2 Open at the 2026 Oaxaca Salsa and Bachata Festival’s Paramount Cup. These achievements span both the rising star and professional stages of their partnership.
Villaraldo’s guest teaching includes an On2 shines workshop at Mr. Mambo’s in May 2025, presented alongside Garcia’s styling class and a couple performance. His festival work brings together individual salsa movement and the partnered choreography he develops with Garcia.
