Salsa Vida has been busy lately. We just launched two of our biggest event features yet: a new map view for browsing salsa events by location, and a new AI-assisted submission flow that makes it much easier to add events to the site.
NEW: Map View: You can now explore salsa events visually with our new global salsa events map. Instead of only browsing lists of events, you can now see what’s happening by region, country, state, and city, making it easier to discover socials, classes, festivals, and other salsa events near you.

This is especially helpful when you’re traveling, moving to a new city, or just curious about what the salsa scene looks like in different parts of the world. Salsa is a global dance, and the new map view makes Salsa Vida feel more like the worldwide salsa calendar it has become.
NEW: AI-Assisted Event Submissions: We also launched a new AI-assisted submission flow to make it easier for organizers, studios, and dancers to submit events. Instead of manually typing in every detail, you can now upload a flyer or paste in a link, and Salsa Vida will help auto-populate the event information for you.

You can still review and edit everything before submitting, but this should make the process much faster, especially for promoters who are already posting flyers on Instagram, Facebook, or their own websites.
This is a big step toward making Salsa Vida more accurate and more up-to-date. The easier it is to submit events, the easier it is for us to keep the global salsa calendar growing, and the easier it is for dancers to find where to go out tonight.
Salsa Vida is the first Latin dance events site to offer AI-assisted event submissions, and it’s part of our larger goal of building the most advanced, user-friendly salsa events platform in the world. We’ve always been about combining technology, dance, and community, and this new feature helps push that mission forward.
A huge thank you to everyone who has submitted events, sent corrections, shared Salsa Vida with friends, or used the site to find places to dance. Your support is what makes it possible to keep building better tools for the salsa community.
We’ve got even more improvements coming soon, but for now, check out the new map view, try the new event submission flow, and let us know what you think.
See you on the dance floor!
