Alejandro’s journey into Latin dance began in childhood, learning salsa and cumbia at family gatherings and in the streets of Mexico. He began formal training in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba in 2011 and performed internationally as early as 2012, later competing and traveling worldwide from 2018.
In 2014, he launched his career as a DJ in a Cuban Timba nightclub, expanding his musical expertise. After competing in bachata in 2016, he shifted his focus to salsa dancing and DJing, developing a unique style that blends New York and West Coast influences.
Since 2020, he has refined his social dancing approach, emphasizing musicality and connection. Known for his warm, patient, and welcoming teaching style, Alejandro creates an inclusive environment for students of all levels.
Today, he is actively DJing, performing, and producing salsa music in the Bay Area.
