Simone Sanfilippo is an Italian salsa and bachata dancer, instructor and performer based in the Turin area. He is one half of Simone y Serena with Serena Maso, and together they are known for athletic stage shows, competition titles and the RDV Style project.
Simone and Serena began dancing together in 2007 and quickly became a serious competitive partnership. Their results include multiple IDO world titles, a bronze medal in salsa at the 2017 World Games, and a World Salsa Summit Pro Salsa On1 title in 2019. They are also known as 18-time world champions.
Their dancing combines fast footwork, difficult tricks, intricate partnerwork and a strong performance look. They have competed and taught across salsa and bachata, including Salsa On1, Salsa On2, cabaret, cha cha cha and other Latin categories.
Through RDV Style and La Rosa Dei Venti Dance Academy, Simone teaches dancers who want a more athletic and polished stage vocabulary. His partnership with Serena has made him one of the most recognizable Italian salsa and bachata artists on the international congress circuit.
