Natali Colom is a Puerto Rico-born salsa instructor based in San Francisco and a director of Iroko SF with Joshua Barbosa. She started in the Bay Area with Salsamania, later co-directed Yamulee Project San Francisco, and now helps lead the local Iroko franchise.
Natali began training in Salsa On2 in Puerto Rico before moving to the Bay Area, where she became part of San Francisco’s mambo team scene. She trained and performed with Salsamania Dance Company, then spent years with Karel Flores San Francisco, deepening her connection to New York-style salsa and disciplined team training.
Her work with Iroko SF continues that progression from student and performer to team director. Natali teaches On2 salsa, ladies styling, performance technique, and movement quality with a strong eye for detail and team discipline. For Bay Area dancers, she brings the perspective of someone who has trained through several of the region’s major salsa team environments.
